On The Verge Of A Merge (2008)

Intrude 366 Exhibition, Zendai Museum of Modern Art, Shanghai, China

I travelled for a day on Line 6 of the Shanghai underground wearing clothes that had been made to match the pink décor of the seating on the trains. Published in Intrude Art Issue 12 2008, Zendai Moma.

The person is wearing a jacket which is dark blue at the top and across the shoulders - but the sleeves and most of the torso are pink. Their trousers are pink from the waist to the knees - and dark blue from the knees down. A few other people on carriage are all dressed in black.
