Old Star & Shadow Cinema, Newcastle upon Tyne
The world’s first synchronised crisp eating band the Synchrocrispettes premiered Synchrocrispicity at the old Star & Shadow cinema on the 10th of January 2014. In this deceptively technical piece the band ate a bag of ready salted crisps in synchronisation with each other. Bags of crisps were handed out to the audience – with many of them eating in synch along with the band. A film of the Synchrocripsettes performing Synchrocrispicity on Nuns Moor, Newcastle, was made in 2014.
